Makeup Charts- Mac Advertisement Shoot

As seen from my mac storyboard the looks for my brand shoot will be quite colourful yet staying in the limits making sure it looks cute and not going over the top. This is the first makeup design I created. I will use foundation matching to the model's skin colour as the base and will set this in place using translucent powder. I will use a light shade of pink over the eye lids just keeping it one colour. I will use false lashes that have a natural appearance to enhance the lashes on camera.

I will go over the lower ash line with the same pink shadow and line the bottom waterline using a white kohl pencil. This will pop the eyes making them look larger and I believe this will give off  a cute look. I slightly contour the face and use a light pink blush to give the face a bloomed look. I will focus more on the highlighting as I want the face to have a glow. I can also achieve this through different lighting set ups and using reflectors. I will use a similar shade of pink on the lips to match the eyes.






This was the second makeup design I created for my brand shoot. To me this looks really colourful and cute. However it comes under a pop art design and these are not all considered as cute. I also think that this look can be too over dramatic for a mac brand shoot. However, I shall try it out and see how the outcome is and whether I will use it a my final design or not. The base of the skin will be foundation matching the model's skin colour set with powder. I will use a light oink shadow on the eyes and create tears and tear drops at the bottom of the eyes using blue supra colour. I will then outline this using black to give it the cartoony effect.

The pink dots across the face will be challenging to do as I have to make sure they all are the same size, shape and are symmetrical. These will be a mission to do however, once tried I will see how the outcome comes out. I will again focus on the highlighting and have a slight contour and blush. The lips will be the same shade that is on the eyes.  I will have the little white patch in one corner of the bottom lip as this will also give it a cute cartoony look.
