As my inspirational word was cute this was the mood board that I cam up with. I picked a bunch of images that related to the word cute in ways of expressions colours and props. From the top right hand side the image of Tyra Banks looked cute to me as her expression. As she has big hair and a skinny face and on top she is making a duck face which overall makes the image look cute. I also think her big eyes and her opening them even wider gives off a cute look.
The second image at the top is cute in the sense of how colourful the image is along with the prop and the expression on the model's face. All these mentioned features of the shot make the image look cute. The lips with the tongue slightly stuck out, this expression could also make an image look quite sensual. However, in this case it makes the image look cute as the lips are pink and are coated with sugary crystal decorations. The image on next to it on the right is also cute due to the expression and colours. The open mouth and the eye open wider then usual gives it away. I also think that the use of colours is key.
The image on the top right is not cute at all however, I put the image in as I thought the jewellery and the scarf on the model make the image look kind of cute. The fact that she is covering her face with her hand I think is a cute expression. Although i think her eye makeup makes the overall image a little to sensual. The image at the bottom right corner is cute because of the models expression and the bow tie she has on her head. Even though a red lip image can look very sensual and attractive, I thought that this mage looks quite cute due to her eyes as they almost look like doll eyes.
The image next to it in my pinion shouts out cute all over. This is mainly because of the model's smile and her covering her left eye. I think the expression of someone covering their face, eyes or even mouth is a gesture of someone being shy and this to me is considered as cute. I also like how she has different coloured nails matching the necklace she's wearing. The image in the middle I thought is also cute because of the big eyes the model has. The waterline of the eyes lined with white really pops the eyes and makes them look bigger. The use of extremely big lashes makes her appearance cute as well and the use of them on the bottom lashes really pops her eyes as normally on a day to day basis they wouldn't be worn on the bottom lashes that way.
The second image on the bottom to me was cute in the sense of all the colour flying around the model. However this doesn't really fit in with the word cute looking back at all the other images. The image at the bottom in the left hand corner I thought looked mainly due to the large glasses and the models eyes and expression. After presenting my moodboard to my peers, I got the feedback that I should have had more images that were cute rather than having images of makeup and face shots.
