These are a few test shots I did before actually carrying out the final shoots. I had to play around with the lighting set up and make sure the flash power and the aperture are set just right. The picture at the top left corner shows that the flash did not go off and the composition is not right either. The lighting setup currently in use is the large beauty dish covered with a diffuser. The image in the top right hand corner shows that the flash has still not gone off however the image has better composition.
For both the images at the bottom I used the large beauty dish covered with a beauty dish and two soft boxes at the back of the model on either side covered with diffuser's. There were also two black poly boards on either side of the model. The lighting is so much better in the bottom pictures and I liked the glow it gave to the skin. However, the image on the bottom left has better composition than the image on the right and this is something I need to keep in mind when taking the final shots.
