Going through Pat McGrath's Instagram page I cam across this image which inspired me for my mac brand shoot. As I would like my mac shoot to be colourful and pink I really liked the pink on the eyes in this image. I also liked the shape it is applied in. It has a light edgy look to it on the outer corners of the eyes, however I think if the corners are slightly rounded it could give off a cute look. The texture of the shadow looks really smooth almost so soft to touch.
I also like the highlighting in this on the model's skin. I would want similar highlighting for my shoot maybe just slightly more on the cheeks as I want my models skin to have a really good glow. I'm no where good enough as Pat McGrath just yet but hope to achieve her perfection in the coming years. I like how flawless the model's skin looks and I will also try achieving this when applying my model's base. I this particular image the model has pink lips. However, I would like my final look to have pink lips matching the eyes. Lip symmetry is very important as it is one of the easiest mistakes to be picked on camera an I need to keep this in mind.
